Terms of Service and Refund Policy
Last updated October 12, 2026
1. The service
When you sign up a property, you appoint O’Day Harrison Grant as your property tax agent by signing Texas Comptroller Form 50-162. For each property and tax year you sign up, we:
- file the appointment of agent with the appraisal district;
- review the appraisal and prepare evidence on market value and unequal appraisal;
- file a written protest by the deadline, when we believe a protest is warranted;
- negotiate at the informal review and represent you before the appraisal review board (ARB).
Binding arbitration, litigation and appeals beyond the ARB are not included. We can quote them separately.
2. Fees and payment
The service fee is a flat price per property for one tax year, set by the property’s market value on the appraisal district’s records, as shown on our Pricing page. The total is shown before you pay.
Payment is taken when you sign up, by card or Apple Pay, through our payment processor Authorize.net. We never see or store your full card number.
The fee is not a percentage of your savings and does not depend on the outcome.
3. No guaranteed result
The appraisal district and the appraisal review board decide the final value. We cannot promise a reduction or a specific amount of savings, and in some years the best outcome is that the value stays the same.
4. Cancellations and refunds
Before we file your protest: you can cancel a sign-up for a full refund. Email or call us and we’ll cancel it the same business day.
After we file your protest: the work for that tax year has been done, so the fee is not refundable.
If we don’t file a protest for a property you signed up (for example, because the evidence does not support one), we refund the fee for that property.
Refunds go back to the card or Apple Pay account you used and usually arrive within 5–10 business days.
5. Your part
You confirm that you own the properties you sign up, or that you are authorized to act for the owner. Please give us accurate information and send us any notice, letter or document you receive from the appraisal district about these properties.
If you also hire another agent, or protest on your own, for the same property and year, tell us right away.
6. Ending the appointment
Form 50-162 stays in effect until you revoke it in writing with the appraisal district or until the end date you choose on the form. Revoking it does not entitle you to a refund for a protest already filed.
